This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.
Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters.
They use cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others, and creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or respond to complex problems.
Entry Requirements
To be eligible for enrolment into the BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management you must either:
- Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training package (current or superseded equivalent versions) and are currently employed in a workplace.
or
- Have completed Year 12 (or equivalent) or Certificate IV from the BSB Training package, and have a minimum of two years of equivalent full-time workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise and are currently employed
All applicants must:
- – be 18 years of age or older at the time of enrolment
- – be technologically literate and have access to the Microsoft Office suite or equivalent
- – have continuous internet access
- – have access to a workplace
- – have a Unique Student Identifier (USI) number (you can receive a USI or – check if you already have one by visiting www.usi.gov.au/students/get-a-usi)
- – have the ability to read and write English and display numeracy skills to at least Year 12 level.
